Meet Richard Tschida

Richard “Dick” Tschida joined the Rohn Industries/ Shred Right team just shortly after Y2k. For over twenty years, he has been tracking incoming and outgoing truck shipments, overseeing inventory levels in the warehouse, and maintaining dock/ bay scheduling to insure no traffic jams or double booked loading zones.

“My biggest challenge, and it’s always been my biggest challenge, is getting shipments to arrive as scheduled,” he explains. When he started with Rohn/ Shred Right, scheduling and tracking were done the “old-fashioned” way with paper and a pen. Now, with the introduction of iPads a few years ago, he says the process is easier and faster. “The company continues to expand with more volume of products coming into the warehouse and shipping out,” he says, “There is continued emphasis on using iPads and investment in computerizing the processes.”

If he is not in Rohn/ Shred Right’s warehouse organizing and tracking shipments, you’ll find Dick spending time with his wife of 39 years and his two sons, ages 31 and 19.  He enjoys watching sports and movies, and is a self-described “history buff.”

He is proud of his twenty-year accomplishment of working at Rohn/ Shred Right, and sees himself staying long term because he likes the atmosphere. He believes Rohn/ Shred Right does a good job of making their employees feel appreciated, he says, “It’s good to see and share in the successes and being rewarded for your work.”
